The barcode was added to protect personal details and also make it easier to find the owners of lost luggage.

Gabriel Viljoen started putting ideas down and the huge market potential he could be dealing with here.

Originally from the Hospitality industry which later on led into the IT side of things, he has seen many a traveller come and go and has done extensive travelling himself over the years.

He has always been playing with new ideas and working on ways to make things better and easier for the end user.

Marius de Lange, friend and accountant by trade, joined Luggage Plates and offers years of experience in what makes every business work...the figures.

He has since also contributed to the end product we bring to you today.
